Passive Hands
Fillauer’s passive hands for women put a premium on natural, realistic appearance for patients who desire a complete body image. The hands feature flexible fingers and durable lightweight construction. Cosmetic gloves come in the Natural Definition color series and takes the prosthetic cosmetic glove to the next level. Using a dual layer PVC with added fibers and airbrush technique the glove will show a deeper definition and a more natural look. A total of 16 skin colors covers most skin tones. The glove is treated with a Micro Coated surface making it more durable and stain resistible compared to a standard PVC glove. The PVC used is free from all heavy metals and phthalates, which allows for a skin friendly and fully recyclable product.
Ottobock passive arm prosthesis is offered in 18 different natural shades. Because there are no active functional elements, the passive arm prosthesis is very lightweight, making it especially well-suited for high amputation levels. When designing Ottobock cosmetic hands, which consist of an inner hand and an easy-to-care-for cosmetic glove, many features are included to replicate the natural hand in great detail. Forty-three models for children, women, and men are available for custom adaptation. Each model is available in selection of 18 natural shades.
