Hydraulic Feet

Hydraulic feet provide patients with an incredible range of controlled motion as well as assist in force absorption, enhance knee stability, and promote good posture.

Blatchford Echelon: A waterproof hydraulic ankle that absorbs on impact, the Echelon self-aligns on uneven and incline surfaces. Its design aids in decreasing uncharacteristic pressures at the socket interface and other joints. This enhances comfort and postural symmetry, diminishing the possibility of falls and sustaining musculoskeletal well-being. Featuring a separate hydraulic control of plantar and dorsi-flexion, the biomimetic design replicates genuine ankle movement. The foot has an e-carbon heel and toe springs along with a sandal toe foot shell.

College Park Odyssey®: Featuring a curved hydraulic ankle for superior knee stability and ground contact, the curved hydraulic cylinder allows for one pivot point, resulting in a smoother sweep with longer life. Available in two models – the K2 for the lower activity level amputee and the K3 for moderate impact users – customizable valves for adjustment provide comfort and stability.

Fillauer MotionFoot MX: A hydraulic foot and ankle system with a natural range of ankle movement that adjusts to slopes, various heel heights, and sitting with feet flat. Fully adjustable for nearly all levels of activity, the manual lock prevents unwanted movement.

Freedom Innovations Kintrol Ankle/Foot: Combining cutting edge Kinterra hydraulic ankle technology with the highest quality, the aerospace-grade fiberglass foot is designed to provide K2 ambulators the comfort and control they demand. Features include a 12-degree range of motion for increased ankle movement for a more natural gait; full-length, unbolted fiberglass keel for optimal flexibility and comfort, resulting in a smooth rollover; and active dorsi-assist spring aiding in toe clearance during swing phase to reduce toe stubbing.
